The Role

What’s the role?
Your strong skills of analysis will be your real asset here, as you work with HR on market scans and assessments to attract the very best cross discipline talent for Shell, from interns to senior management positions. You’ll also contribute to the analysis of recruitment requirements and help to identify current and future skill and capability gaps that need recruiting.

Naturally, you can expect wide-ranging responsibilities. One day you might be helping to prepare and deliver timely and ambitious recruitment campaigns to attract IT talent. On another, you might be attending job fairs and visiting colleges or universities. More specific duties will include:

  • Providing reports and insights for our Capability Centre (CC).
  • Helping to drive the continuous improvement of the IT Resource Management process, systems, data and reporting.
  • Closely collaborating with HR Business Interface organization and working with CC competency center Managers on resource allocation staff capabilities to be recruited.
  • Closely monitor KPI's and drive corrective actions through various interfaces
  • Support and work with the IT Resource Management Team members to drive governance, Continuous Improvements, and other initiatives taken up in the Enterprise Resource Management Function

Most importantly, you’ll act as liaison between project teams, matching a demand for specific resources with the various capability centres who provide the resources. This is where your strong communication skills will come in, confidently developing strong partnerships with a diverse range of mostly virtual stakeholders, and ably managing and making decisions. All the while,supporting the work of the whole of the ERM team to drive performance.


What we need from you
This is an exciting opportunity to combine your analytical talent and IT Recruitment expertise with your experience of working with a diverse workforce strategy. Along with your good understanding of IT and your ability to deliver in a maturing business model, we’re keen to hear from men and women with as many of the following on your CV:

  • Proven expertise in business analysis and planning and organisation.
  • Experience of HR processes (including recruitment assessments, campaigns and market analysis).
  • Skilled in reporting and recruitment data analytics.
  • An understanding of the disciplines and roles in IT delivery and services.
  • A track record of developing focused resourcing and talent strategies and solutions across diverse workforce models is a plus
  • Good understanding of the IT function.
  • Experience in managing resourcing (demand validation, allocation, de-allocation, KPI tracking) for large accounts and engagements.
  • Specific experience and expertise in managing a diverse workforce strategy is a plus.
